Winter Gardening: Building an inexpensive greenhouse

Just because you said goodbye to warm weather doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to your garden until next spring.

Greenhouses are an easy, do-it-yourself answer to keeping fresh produce in abundance all year round.

Follow Lydia Sisson from Mill City Grows as she shows you how to make a simple greenhouse and make the most of your backyard garden even as the snow begins to fall.

 What you’ll need:

Half-inch PVC hoop from Lowes, Home Depot or any local hardware store.
PVC holder clamps.
Greenhouse plastic or a clear shower curtain.

Simple, clean and practical, the DIY greenhouse will provide fresh greens even in the coldest months of the year.
