Join UMass Lowell Professor Bob Forrant for a free downtown walking tour highlighting the labor history of Lowell. This 75 minute program begins at 1 p.m. at the Visitor Center. Professor Forrant will lead a walk back in time to explore Lowell’s labor history. Highlights include a discussion of Lowell women workers and their fights for the ten-hour day and suffrage and against slavery.
